A legacy cigar, in memory of Stacey Leonard.

Our ultra-premium light torpedo, made with a premium special reserve blend of Dominican tobacco under a light Connecticut wrapper, drawn to a tapered end.

The full, easy draw gives way to a medium-bodied aromatic smoke with hints of wood and leather, and a crisp, nutty flavour from that light, clean-burning Connecticut leaf.

A rich, medium to full-bodied ultra-premium cigar with an easy, rewarding draw. It carries our proprietary blend of five-year-old Nicaraguan filler tobaccos, bound in sun-grown Nicaraguan broadleaf and finished with a gorgeous natural Ecuadorian wrapper.

With flavour as prominent as its namesake, this thick and deep, complex cigar gives a big spicy smoke and a long, satisfying leathery finish.

Every Mr. Dan1els cigar is long-filler — whole leaves, laid end to end, never chopped. It is why the burn holds steady and the flavour builds rather than fades.

    The Leaf

    Whole leaves from Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador and Connecticut, cured and fermented before they ever reach the table.

  2. 02

    The Blend

    A proprietary bunch for each series — filler, binder and wrapper chosen to give each cigar its own temperament.

  3. 03

    The Roll

    Rolled by hand to a 52 ring gauge and drawn to a tapered torpedo head, so the smoke concentrates as you go.

  4. 04

    The Rest

    Every run is rested in Spanish cedar until the leaf settles. Only then is a box released.

In Memoriam

Stacey Leonard

The Leonard Series is a legacy cigar, made in memory of our founder’s late father. It is the mildest and the most aromatic of the three, and it is meant to be smoked slowly and in good company — which is how he would have wanted it.

What sizes are available?

All three series are 52 ring gauge torpedoes, rolled to a tapered head. Each is offered as a single stick (Leonard $22, Eighty-Four $24, Twenty Three $26), a six-pack ($85), a box of ten ($150) or a box of twenty ($300).

How is allocation decided?

Runs are small. Pre-sale orders are filled in the order they are received, with clients of the house served first.

How do I reserve?

Use the reservation form below, or write to info@mrdan1els.com naming your series and count. We reply within one business day.

Is proof of age required?

Yes. Cigars are sold to adults of legal smoking age only, and proof of age is required on delivery.
